While rates for obesity and overweight Americans are still very high Dr. David Samadi shares that those numbers have finally leveled off. In the U.S., 35% of adults are considered obese and 70% are overweight. Even more shocking is the high rate of obesity in children - 70% of U.S. children are obese and 32% are overweight. Dr. Samadi discusses behavioral changes in eating habits, portion control, and exercise as steps toward correcting the obesity problem. Soda tax is also discussed.
