Fox & Friends 03:56

Dr. Samadi, Chief of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, discusses the recent diagnoses of Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner (R - WI). and Senator Chris Dodd (D- Connecticut). Samadi believes the trend is skewing more towards surgery as the most effective way to fully remove all of the cancer and get cured without affecting the quality of life, which includes sexual function and continence. He reminded the audience it is Prostate Cancer Awareness month and cautioned men to get regular screenings; if the disease is caught early, the cure rate is over 95%. He briefly discussed healthcare reform and that it should be considered carefully, because the current healthcare system could become overburdened.
