Fox News, 06/17/2012Prostate cancer treatment expert Dr. David Samadi gives men the gift of knowledge this Father's Day as he provides information about the importance of PSA testing and prostate cancer screening. A PSA (or Prostate Specific Antigen) test is a simple blood test that can be done on an annual basis that can be used to help determine a patient's risk for prostate cancer. Dr. Samadi suggests that all men start receiving PSA tests regularly starting at the age of 45. For those who have a family history of, or other risk factors for, prostate cancer should start being tested at age 40.
