New cancer screening recommendations raise debate

With a recent recommendation reducing the frequency that women should have mammograms, Dr. Samadi, robotic surgeon and prostate cancer expert, discusses what these changes mean for patient care. Like the PSA test, regular mammograms increases the chance of detecting cancer at its early stages. Reducing the number of mammograms and PSA tests may save money, but Dr. Samadi asks, “what is the price of a life?”
