Today's Health - September 27, 2010 , 05:01

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.  Prostate cancer is a disease that affects 1 out of every 6 men. Early prostate cancer detection and treatment can mean the difference between life and death. The good news from Dr. David Samadi, Chairman of Urology and Chief of Robotic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, is that he's able to provide invaluable recommendations and guidance about prostate cancer screening and treatment. The average age of men with prostate cancer is 69, but there are several other factors (including genetic history and ethnicity) that can contribute to the likelihood of men developing this disease.

Sinai for a little over 24 hours went just as Dr. Samadi had explained at our first consultation .There were no surprises or unexpected incidents. The staff at Mt. Sinai were great. My post operative recovery is progressing well...
