Joe G

Dr. Samadi: My name is Joe G. I am 38 years old. In August of 2009 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After doing my research, and consulting with several doctors, I determined that surgery was the best option for me. I was going to have the robotic assisted prostectomy. My biggest fear, other than the cancer itself, was one of the potential side effects of prostate surgery, losing the ability to have an erection. Being only 38 years old, this would be a devastating side effect for me and my wife as well. I put my life, and my quality of life in the hands of the best surgeon I could find, DR. David Samadi. My surgery was October 19th, 2009. I was walking around a few hours after surgery. I went home the next day. I had to have a catheter in for a week. That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. On Monday October 26th I had the catheter removed. The next day I had a complete full erection without using Viagra. I couldn't believe it. Then I had one the day after that. Today is Thursday October 29th. 3 days after having the catheter removed, and 3 erections that are 100% exactly like they were before surgery.

Dr. Samadi not only saved my life, he saved my quality of life. To me, that truly defines success. His entire staff is phenomenal, thank you Anna, Ann, Helen, everybody from the hospital, and all the rest. You are the A team. Thank you especially DR. Samadi, you are the best! Joe G
