Dr. Samadi: My name is Joe G. I am 38 years old. In August of 2009 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After doing my research, and consulting with several doctors, I determined that surgery was the best option for me. I was going to have the robotic assisted prostectomy. My biggest fear, other than the cancer itself, was one of the potential side effects of prostate surgery, losing the ability to have an erection. On Monday October 26th I had the catheter removed. The next day I had a complete full erection without using Viagra. I couldn't believe it. Then I had one the day after that. Today is Thursday October 29th. 3 days after having the catheter removed, and 3 erections that are 100% exactly like they were before surgery.
