When I first learned of having prostate cancer, I quickly formed a support network of friends and colleagues, some of whom had already dealt with this issue. After research and talking to my urologist, I had no doubt that the best course of action was a radical prostatectomy. After meeting Dr. Samadi in person, I had no doubt which surgeon I wanted to perform the procedure. It's been a month since my surgery and I am amazed how far I have progressed. I’ve experienced very few side effects and I’m feeling stronger every day. The best news was that the cancer was contained to the prostate, so a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Equally important is that at least three of my colleagues are making appointments with their doctors to get checked. I am aware of the fact that it takes a extraordinarily rare surgeon to be the master of Robotic Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy. I watched the video released by the Henri Mondor hospital before my surgery, and once again today. Although you make it seem easy to the patients and their families, your accomplishment is nearly superhuman.
