"My surgery consisted of arriving at the hospital on Monday morning, surgery shortly after and going home the next day. I could not believe how good I felt".

It is now more than a week post-op and all is well (including path reports). Once again, I thank Dr. Samadi and all at Mount Sinai for the opportunity to be cared for by the best.?

I cannot begin to tell you the reaction that I receive when I tell people that I was operated on just three weeks ago and what a remarkable surgeon you are.. It is something that I would want to share with everyone vis a vis the stigma involved with guys facing up to the fact about "prostate health". I just want to reiterate how fabulous you staff is and how deeply indebted I am to you.

Dear Dr. Samadi:

When I came to my first appointment with you, I had very little knowledge of the da Vinci surgery that you perform.  All I knew was that I needed a radical prostatectomy due to prostate cancer and I wanted a fast recovery not what I was already offered with the traditional surgery, a painful, bloody and long period of hospitalization and recovery.

Today I consider myself a very lucky person, because not only you took care of me, but explained the whole procedure as it happened.  Robotic surgery is a successful new approach of science and technology in favor of humanity,  probably in all fields.

You did my surgery on November 21, 2005 and I returned home the following day.  Once the catheter was removed my improvement was very fast.  My bladder is almost under control and I started driving my car 2 weeks after the surgery.  I feel great and better than that I don't think I can ask for.

You are a very dedicated doctor, not only to the patient but to the family as well.  Your bedside manners are incredible.  Being always available to the patient at all hours via personal cellular phone is something to praise you for.  I received a phone call from you on a Saturday to inform me about the pathologist results of the surgery.

You are the all around Doctor that together with your robotic surgery I will recommend without a doubt.  You have the knowledge humanity and compassion needed to make you a success.  You have studied and worked hard to arrive here and you should feel very proud of your accomplishments.

May God bless you always and continue helping others for many, many years to come.
