I put my life, and my quality of life in the hands of the best surgeon I could find, DR. David Samadi.  My surgery was October 19th, 2009. I was walking around a few hours after surgery. I went home the next day.

In March of 2006 I had robotic prostate surgery and was released from the hospital in 24 hours and had the catheter removed in 5 days. My PSA values have been below the detectable range for the entire year. At your hands it is the most painless and least invasive operation that a man can ever have.

G. Coulter

I have a long history of a PSA score of between 2.5 and 4.0. Within the last few years it has steadily climbed to above 5.0. During my annual physical in October of 2005, my GP suggested that I have a biopsy. I had the biopsy and much to my disappointment it came back positive with a Gleason of 6.0 (3+3). Now what to do. I was not prepared for the multitude of information and mis-information available. I did my due diligence, learned all I could about this dreadful disease and decided that with my cancer which was confined to the capsule, that surgery was my best bet. I had heard about laparoscopic surgery and searched the web for more information. This is where I found out about Dr. David Samadi. I sent him an e-mail early in the afternoon on the day before Thanksgiving. By the time I got home there was a message on my answering machine with his cell phone number. I returned his call, gave him my preliminary information and scheduled an appointment for December 13th, 2005. He took the time to explain everything about the procedure and the operation was set for February 17th, 2006. Needless to say the operation was a huge success. I left the hospital in less than 24 hours, the catheter was removed 4 days later and now almost 3 months later my PSA is 0.0 and, except for slight incontinence, I feel fine. Dr. Samadi has been there to answer any questions or concerns and everything that he told me about the procedure was true. I highly recommend him. G. Coulter
