September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month
September is prostate cancer awareness month. It’s the second most common disease for men in the USA. About 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed in 2017, according to the American Cancer Society.
That translates to 161.360 new cases this year. A new study confirms that PSA tests can reduce the risk of death by 30% from prostate cancer.
The PSA test is especially important for men over the age of 40, who should get checked and talk to their physician on a regular basis about this potential threat.Back to Videos
